Elements in Japan
A voyage of discovery
"Elements in Japan" is a very special personal project for me. It emerged after my first trip to Japan, where I had the opportunity to discover a truly incredible country and culture.

This trip was the catalyst for creating this series of three illustrations, which revolved around three themes that spontaneously arose during my stay in the country. The first is the famous Sakura, where cherry blossoms bloom and the beautiful pink flowers become the centerpiece of the scene at this time of year. The second emerged after taking my first bullet train journey from Tokyo to Osaka, and the third after experiencing lunch at a typical food establishment in the center of Ginza.

The selection of the objects that compose each of the digital illustrations was carefully chosen, and each of them evokes a feeling or memory experienced in Japan.

Just as every person has different memories of their travels, such as photos or objects, in my case, looking at any of these three geometric illustrations becomes windows that transport me and remind me of different moments experienced during my visit to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, which I hope to have the opportunity to repeat in the not too distant future.
